Drab-to-Fab Visa® special: 3.95% APR* on transferred balances

From January 15 through March 15, 2012, you can lock in a special 3.95% APR on balance transfers from another card to your credit union Classic or Platinum Visa. With credit lines up to $20,000, you can erase debt like never before!

The promotional rate is good until March 2014. (Any remaining transferred balances will convert to our regular variable rate, currently just 7.31% or 9.31% APR.)

You’ll be asked for the account number, transfer amount, payee, and payment address for each card you wish to transfer from.

How much difference can a Drab-to-Fab makeover make? Let’s say you owe $10,000 on a standard 18% credit card. To pay off that debt in two years, you’d make monthly payments of $499.24 per month. With a Drab-to-Fab transfer, your payment drops to $434.03, saving you $1,565.04!

* APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Eligibility and the non-promotional rate for which you may qualify will be determined by your personal credit history. The promotional rate applies to balances transferred to a Visa Classic or Platinum card. The Drab-to-Fab promotion may not be combined with any other offer and does not apply to existing balances on your credit union Visa. Your account must be in good standing. 3.95% APR will apply only to transferred balance amounts and will remain in effect until the balances are paid in full or your March 2014 statement date. After that, your rate on any remaining transferred balance converts to our regular variable rate, currently 7.31% or 9.31% APR. To help you pay down your card’s debt as quickly as possible, we’ll allocate all payments over your minimum to any higher APR balance on your card.

We feel so strongly that every member should have a consistent savings plan that we’ll deposit $25* to your credit union account when you set up automated deposits through your payroll office or from another financial institution. You’ll get the $25 incentive after your credit union account has received two consecutive months of automated deposits.

The offer is valid for members ages 18 and over who have not yet established automated deposits to any credit union account.

We can help you get started in just a click:

To deposit PART of your paycheck to your credit union account, print and complete a School Payroll Authorization form and give it to your employer’s payroll office.
To deposit ALL of your paycheck to your credit union account, ask your payroll office for details (usually, you’ll fill out a short form and provide some account information or a voided check).
To TRANSFER FUNDS from another financial institution to your credit union account, fill out an ACH Authorization form and return it to us. We’ll do the rest!
