Platinum or Classic Visa*

With a credit line of up to $20,000, our low-rate Visa puts money back in your pocket when you transfer your high-interest balances from other financial institutions' credit cards and small consumer loans. Our Visa convenience checks make moving your balances as easy as writing a check (just give us a call, and we'll mail them to you).

Once you receive your card, you'll want to register your Visa with our online banking system so you can manage your Visa account online.

Choices Visa ® credit card*

When a parent or guardian co-signs, members ages 11 through 17 can qualify for a Visa credit card with limits up to $500. The Choices card has all the features of our Classic Visa. It makes an excellent teaching tool (and a gives your teen a head start on building a good credit rating) as part of the Choices suite of services. Members tell us it's especially handy when teens travel for school activities or use it for specific purposes like buying fuel, clothing, or school supplies.

7.90% APR variable for Platinum

9.90% APR variable for Classic

How to Avoid Paying Interest on Purchases:

Your due date is at least 25 days after the close of each billing cycle. If at the beginning of a billing cycle there are no unpaid purchase transactions from a prior billing cycle, we will not charge interest on the portion of purchase transactions that is paid by the due date.

How We Will Calculate Your Balance: We use a method called “average daily balance (including new purchases).”

** The 11th District Monthly Weighted Average Cost of Funds, published by the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, is used to calculate your APR. It’s published as of the the last business day of each quarter. The margins are as follows: Platinum + 2.00%, Classic + 4.00%. The new rate will take effect on the first business day of the next billing cycle.

Cut your risk of card fraud 

Follow these tips to protect your cards from unauthorized use:

  • Never respond to telephone or e-mail requests asking for personal account information or Social Security number.
  • Never disclose your account number over the phone, Internet, or by mail unless you know you're dealing with a reputable company.
  • Never write your account number on a postcard or the outside of an envelope.
  • Draw a line through blank spaces on charge slips so the total can't be changed.
  • Don't sign a blank charge or debit slip.
  • Carry as few cards as possible.
  • Never carry your PIN in your wallet or write it on your cards.
  • Open statements promptly and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Keep receipts so you can check them against your statement.
